Dental bridge is a fixed type replacement of missing teeth. Your existing natural teeth are used to support a bridge to cross the area where your tooth is missing.

Crowns and bridges can be made from tooth color material called porcelain and some case fused to gold, metal, alloys, to ensure that they are strong and durable.

Porcelain finished crown/bridge is best to maintain a natural look and feeling, as it can be matched to the shade of your other teeth, especially for front teeth case. This will allow it to blend in and appear just like one of your natural teeth,

The process of installing crowns and bridges takes 2-3 visits to the dentist. You may need temporary crown/bridge during the procedure. Your permanent crown/bridge will be fixed and cemented by corresponding material at the last appointment. Most crown and bridge behave and appear like your natural teeth.

Some complicated crown or bridge cases may need to be referred to specialist, prosthodontist, for treatment.
